A group of pupils from Dauntsey's has recently returned from a Model United Nations conference in The Hague. During the conference, they represented either Mali or Turkey on various committees - including human rights and disarmament - tasked with combating some of the most pressing global issues.
Remembrance Day is always a significant event in the Hazlegrove calendar. In the lead up to this year's service, pupils were busy making ceramic poppies, designing and creating poppies in Design and Technology and handling artefacts from WW1.

A team of 17-year old boys at the City of London School have won a gold medal and four special prizes at the iGEM finals in the USA, working on a novel technique to diagnose cancer easily, cheaply and at a curable stage.
